Like probably many people, I learned about ICHIMAKI from COALTAR OF THE DEEPERS.
After she left, COALTAR OF THE DEEPERS is of course great. But I liked the different and uncertain atmosphere she gave them.
I only had intermittent information about her after that, maybe once every few years, but recently I learned about her new project.
In November 2021, her new project released an EP with a few songs.
These are all great. Her vocals really go well with the mix of buzz and melancholy in the songs. Hopefully it will reach many ears.
