We finally visited Himeji Castle.
It is without exaggeration that it is one of the finest castles left in Japan due to its huge size, beauty, and historical value of being preserved in its original form.
The ease of access is also noteworthy in that you can get there on foot after getting off the Shinkansen station.
When I actually entered the castle, I was truly amazed at the size of the interior.

We can learn a lot from history.
Himeji Castle is believed to have played a major role in the period when warfare in Japan had just subsided.
It is even more interesting to look at it while thinking about the historical background that gave it such a huge appearance.
