Lately, I’ve found the perfect way to unwind and take a break: a mobile game called “Block Blast.” Each round only takes about five minutes, making it great for quick breaks or whenever you have a bit of free time.

Simple Rules, Deep Strategy

At first glance, “Block Blast” looks a bit like Tetris, but with a twist. Instead of blocks falling from the top, you place them at the bottom of the screen to clear lines. The blocks can’t be rotated, which I initially found a bit frustrating. However, this restriction is what makes the game so simple yet surprisingly strategic.

The 4000-Point Challenge

The difficulty increases as you play. I’ve noticed a significant jump around the 4000-point mark, where the blocks become much more challenging to fit. From there, it feels more like a puzzle, and the satisfaction of clearing a difficult section is what makes me want to keep playing.

My Son’s 20,000-Point Record

While my personal best is only around 10,000 points, my son told me he’s already broken the 20,000-point mark. It’s a tough game, but I’m determined to beat his score someday.
